About This Position:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Manager who is passionate about direct-to-consumer ecommerce sales and ready to make a measurable impact. In this role, you will lead a high-performing remote sales team, develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth, and optimize the customer shopping experience — all in service of achieving aggressive sales targets, expanding market share, and elevating the digital experience for our customers.
This role is designed for a leader who thrives in a remote environment — managing your team, driving sales, and engaging customers entirely through digital and virtual channels, with no job site visits required.

- Location: 100% Remote. (Candidates must reside in Eastern or Central time zones.)
- Reports to: Director, Sales @ Renovation Brands.
- Total Compensation: $150,000 estimated within first 12 months.
- Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
- PLUS Bonus Incentives. (Monthly and Quarterly.)
- Schedule: Primarily M-F, some early evenings & weekends, 40+ hours per week.
What You’ll Do:
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and training to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing ecommerce sales team, each of whom work in a 100% remote capacity.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure team success.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team culture focused on achieving sales goals.
- Leverage AI tools as a core part of how you lead, sell, and scale.
- Customer Experience Optimization:
- Oversee the development and optimization of the online shopping experience to maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Implement strategies to improve website usability, navigation, and overall customer journey.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on insights.
- Product and Merchandising:
- Work closely with the product and merchandising teams to ensure a compelling and diverse online product assortment.
- Implement pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability.
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend new products or features to enhance the product offering.
- Sales Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and website traffic.
- Generate regular reports to communicate key metrics and insights to the leadership team.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
- Partnership and Collaboration:
- Identify and explore potential partnerships and collaborations that can drive additional sales and enhance the brand's online presence.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of proven success managing an established and growing remote sales team.
- 2+ years of experience within an ecommerce and/or DTC business model.
- Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools as a core part of how you lead, sell, and scale.
- In-depth knowledge of ecommerce platforms, online marketing strategies, and industry best practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
