Advanced Manufacturing Supervisor

About This Position:

Responsible for technical elements of our manufacturing processes including but not limited to: Stamping, Machining, Tooling, Fabrication, Powder Coating and ERP integration. The Advanced Manufacturing Supervisor will safely operate, document, and train employees on equipment usage in the appropriate manner while adhering to all safety policies and guidelines. The role will also resolve equipment related issues as needed.

  • Location: On-site. Bradenton, FL.
  • Reports to: Director of Operations @ American Tin Ceilings
  • Base Salary Range: Salaried, exempt. $75,000 - $90,000 (experience & interview performance will determine actual number within the range).
  • Schedule: 1st Shift: 7am - 4pm, Monday – Friday.

What You’ll Do:

  • Set up and operate stamping presses and auxiliary equipment in a safe and correct manner.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Work documentation and visual work instructions.
  • Train employees on proper and effective use of equipment.
  • Design and implement tooling and fixturing to drive continuous process improvements.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled or directed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment reliability issues throughout the plant.
  • Conduct required visual and physical quality inspections to verify product conformance.
  • Adhere to all safety programs, including press guarding, lockout/tagout, PPE, fire and electrical safety, and hearing conservation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
  • Serve as on-site technical leader for manufacturing issues impacting direct labor operations.
  • Leveraging AI in creating procedures, visual guides, lean manufacturing, CNC programming, and process mapping.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of standard manufacturing procedures; familiarity with the stamping/tooling industry preferred.
  • Working knowledge of equipment safety standards and safe operating practices.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
  • Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience in leveraging AI in creating procedures, visual guides, lean manufacturing, CNC programming, and process mapping.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift in excess of 60 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, push, and pull parts and part containers.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse production environment.
