Job Overview:

Ledge is seeking an Account Executive to create meaningful client relationships, grow revenue, and expand project opportunities across Ledge Contract.

In this role, you will partner closely with Senior Account Executives, Project Management, Design, Sourcing, Logistics, and Customer Experience to align client needs with the right products, timelines, and support. This person should be strategic, highly collaborative, and comfortable managing client-facing opportunities in a fast-moving, project-based sales environment.

This role requires someone who can navigate complex customer ecosystems, build trust with multiple stakeholders, and guide clients from initial interest through execution with clarity, urgency, and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive sales and margin growth through a consultative approach aligned with Ledge Contract’s goals
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across client organizations and project teams
  3. Identify growth opportunities and proactively engage with clients through in-person meetings, field visits, and ongoing dialogue
  4. Qualify and manage opportunities from multiple channels, including self-generated outreach, inbound inquiries, and internal handoffs
  5. Collaborate with Senior Account Executives, Project Specialists, Consumer Experience, and International Sales teams to determine the right resources across each opportunity
  6. Develop tailored presentations and proposals that communicate Ledge’s value, product offering, design perspective, and project support capabilities
  7. Translate client and project needs into clear next steps that support accurate quoting, product recommendations, order execution, project timelines, and delivery expectations
  8. Maintain disciplined pipeline management, including accurate sales forecasts, activity tracking, opportunity stages, and CRM reporting
  9. Participate in trade shows, industry events, client meetings, and market visits to increase brand visibility and grow relationships
Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales or business development experience in furniture, design, hospitality, commercial, residential, FF&E, building products, real estate, or related industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, a related field, or Interior Design preferred
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding client relationships, and exceeding sales goals
  • Strong understanding of project-based sales cycles, from early development through design, proposal, product production, order execution, and delivery
  • Highly motivated and solutions-oriented; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with travel as required to grow business
  • Ability to engage with internal and external senior stakeholders through strong communication and presentation skills
  • Resourceful and composed when priorities shift, with the ability to create structure, solve problems, and move opportunities forward
  • Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace; HubSpot or NetSuite experience preferred
