Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Marketplace Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. This role will focus on optimizing and the daily management of our marketplace presence, specifically through the creation and optimization of Product Detail Pages (PDP), backend operations, and catalog support. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Amazon’s Seller Central, as well as a passion for driving sales and improving product visibility through strategic content and data-driven insights. Bonus if you have experience in other channels like Wayfair, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Walmart.

Responsibilities:

  1. PDP & Content Management:
  • Assist in managing and optimizing Product Detail Pages (PDP) to improve ranking, visibility, and conversion.
  • Coordinate creative asset creation with internal teams and maintain high-quality content, including product titles, descriptions, bullet points, and keywords that align with SEO best practices.

2. Marketplace Operations:

  • Manage day-to-day operations within Amazon Seller Central and other marketplace portals, including inventory management, pricing strategies, order fulfillment, and account health monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to product listings, account health, or performance notifications in accordance with Amazon's policies.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and prevent stock-outs.
  • Work with teams in Demand Planning processes
  • Proactively monitor and identify patent-infringing knock-off products or unauthorized sellers on Amazon and other marketplaces, working with Brand Protection teams to enforce IP rights, remove counterfeit listings, and protect brand integrity.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze marketplace performance metrics (sales data, conversion rates, traffic, ACoS, etc.) to identify trends and insights for optimization.
  • Develop and present regular performance reports and action plans to improve sales, product visibility, and overall channel performance.

4. Collaboration & Support

  • This role will be reporting to the Director of Partnerships and Marketplaces to help grow the marketplaces accounts and assist with priority projects and tasks.
  • You will work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales, product management, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of marketplace strategies and campaigns.
  • Work with the Product Development team to Identify new product opportunities, considering market size, selling price, and analysis of who buys and how the new product will fit with our eCommerce marketplace partners and their customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or a related field
  • At least two years of experience managing Amazon Seller Central for an account of $2m+ or greater
  • Amazon FBA experience (shipments, planning, troubleshooting
  • Advanced Excel experience with reporting
  • Experience managing a digital catalog of 100-200 products (images, content, videos)
  • Experience managing Wayfair, BBB (Bed Bath and Beyond), and/or Walmart
  • Online MAP enforcement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with Castlegate (Wayfair), SOFS (BBB), WFS (Walmart)
  • Managing retailer.com accounts like Home Depot/ Lowes / Costco Next
  • Digital Advertising experience (Amazon Ads, Google, Meta, TikTok)
  • Managing online reseller accounts
