Job Overview:
The Director of Sales Operations will play a key role in optimizing sales processes, driving team performance, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This position oversees Customer Service and Inside Sales teams, focusing on showroom and tele-sales operations (excluding e-commerce). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging NetSuite to ensure seamless sales execution and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Customer Service and Inside Sales teams, fostering a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to optimize sales processes, increase revenue, and improve customer experience.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient workflows and systems, utilizing NetSuite to support reporting, sales forecasting, and process improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the VP of Sales, marketing, and operations teams to align on business goals and drive growth initiatives.
- Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs for Customer Service and Sales teams, regularly analyzing performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Experience: Champion initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction across all sales channels.
- Training and Development: Develop training programs to enhance team skills, product knowledge, and service excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in sales operations, customer service, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with the luxury consumer goods industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, especially NetSuite, and experience with CRM tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels.
