Job Overview:

As the Sales and Operations Planning Manager, your primary responsibility is to drive business operations acceleration of Ledge as we rapidly grow and scale up. You will play a key role in building, implementing, and facilitating customized Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP+) processes and Integrated Business Process capability across the enterprise to improve operational execution, growth, customer satisfaction, lead-times, and working capital. This individual will be a key player on the management team driving operational effectiveness across the organization and enabling Ledge’s scale up acceleration. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement S&OP Process: As a Sales and Operations Planner (S&OP), your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement an effective S&OP process that integrates sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory management.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: This entails working closely with cross-functional teams, collaborating with sales, marketing, production, finance, and other relevant departments to gather input and ensure alignment of plans across the organization. Collaboration with finance teams to align S&OP plans with budgetary constraints and financial goals is also part of the responsibilities.
  3. Demand and Supply Planning: This role will involve analyzing demand patterns, market trends, and historical data to create accurate sales forecasts. Coordinating with production and procurement teams is crucial to ensure adequate inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess.
  4. Monitor and Report Performance: This role will monitor and report on performance against established key performance indicators (KPIs) for S&OP processes, providing insights into any discrepancies or deviations from the plan. Utilizing advanced planning tools and software for accurate forecasting, data analysis, and decision-making is essential.
  5. Risk Management: Proactive risk management is essential in identifying potential disruptions to the supply chain and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  6. Continuous Improvement: This position is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives within the S&OP process, incorporating feedback and adapting strategies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, technical or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of industry, CPG, or other relevant business experience
  • Experience in Power BI
  • Proven analytical skills, ability to create compelling fact-based presentations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships, initiate action, adjust to change and persuade at all levels, are key competencies of this role
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary Description
$90,000 - $105,000
