What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll help manage the day-to-day accounting operations and make sure everything ties out cleanly. You will be the go-to person for keeping our books accurate, our processes efficient, and our compliance on point.

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

• Running the daily accounting operations — payables, receivables, reconciliations, and general ledger work.
• Helping complete the monthly close process to make sure financials are accurate and timely.
• Preparing financial reports and helping leadership understand what the numbers mean for the business.
• Handling sales tax filings, payment processor reconciliations, chargebacks, and revenue recognition.
• Preparation of Payroll.
• Assist with annual budget cycle and ongoing forecasting for the business
• Assist with weekly cash forecasting process.
• Keeping processes streamlined and looking for ways to automate or improve workflows.
• Coordinating with outside auditors, tax professionals, and banks when needed.
• Staying current with accounting standards and compliance rules.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is a plus, but not required).
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in ecommerce, retail, or other fast-paced transactional environments.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Comfortable working with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) and payment processors.
• Someone who’s detail-oriented, organized, and proactive about solving problems.
