The Merchandising Manager, Private Label Apparel is responsible for leading the end-to-end merchandise strategy for the private label apparel portfolio. This role drives product line architecture, assortment planning, pricing strategy, and go-to-market execution. The ideal candidate combines strong product sensibilities, an understanding of consumer trends, and business acumen to deliver compelling, on-brand assortments that meet financial objectives and strengthen the private label brand.

Merchandise Strategy & Assortment Development
· Lead development of seasonal private label apparel assortments aligned with brand positioning, customer insights, and market trends.
· Build and maintain multi-season line architecture, identifying white space opportunities and ensuring cohesive consumer-focused collections.
· Partner closely with Design, Sourcing, and Planning to develop product briefs, set line goals, and maintain balanced assortments across categories, genders, sizes, and price points.
· Analyze sales, margin, inventory, and competitor data to refine assortment decisions and identify improvement opportunities.
Product Lifecycle Management
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, fit consistency, and brand integrity.
· Track product performance post-launch and optimize future lines based on learnings.
Vendor & Cross-Functional Partnership
· Maintain strong vendor partnerships to support on-time production, negotiate costs, and ensure product quality.
· Partner with Marketing & Creative to support storytelling, product launches, and omni-channel presentation.
· Collaborate with Planning & Inventory Management to build demand plans, manage flow, and optimize in-season performance.
Financial & Business Management
· Own category financial performance, including sales, margin, IMU, and inventory productivity.
· Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans that balance brand value with financial goals.
· Monitor KPIs and provide merchandise insights to leadership, recommending strategies for growth and risk mitigation.
Marginal Functions
· Performs all other duties as assigned.
· Some travel will be required to include occasional weekends for shows.
